The definitive release of these sessions can be found on Follow That Dream's limited edition The Pot Luck Sessions 5xCD set, where everything has been mixed and remastered from scratch, and all masters and outtakes are presented in the best possible sound.
Different remixed versions of 'Good Luck Charm'
can be found on Elvis 30 #1 Hits (E1) and The Top
Ten Hits.
Take 9 of 'Anything That's Part Of You'
on Elvis By The Presleys is incorrectly listed
as being previously unreleased, as it was originally
on the CD version of Worldwide Gold Award Hits
Volume 1 - Part 2.
Sessions III incorrectly lists Take 8 of 'Anything
That's Part Of You' as being released on Worldwide
Gold Award Hits Volume 1 - Part 2, where it was
actually Take 9 and also incorrectly lists take
9 of Anything That's Part Of You as being
released on 'Elvis In Nashville', where it was
actually take 1.
The re-recording of 'Anything
That's Part Of You' can found as an additional track on the 2015 special vinyl UK box-set release of
If I Can Dream. The standard CD release of
If I Can Dream, which contained Elvis' original vocals but with new backings by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and which actually went to number one in the UK album charts, did not contain this track.
The false start from take 1 of 'Night Rider'
on Collectors Gold has the left and right channels
swapped.
Elvis re-recorded the song 'Night Rider'
on March 18 1962. The
master from that day was first released on the
Time Life Elvis Presley Collection CD set (Volume
11) Treasures 1960 / 1963.
In March of 2007, Sony decided to go through all of Elvis' masters. They retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases since 2007 including budget soundtracks, Legacy releases, the 30 disc Complete Elvis Presley Masters collection and the Franklin Mint package.
