The one-liners of 'Farther Along' (from Take 3), count-in for Take 4, 'Mean Woman Blues' (from Take 7) and 'Oh Happy Day' (from Take 5) are edited in before Take 6 of 'Until It's Time For You To Go (remake)' on FTD's classic album release of Elvis (Fool).
The same one-liners of 'Farther Along' (from Take 3), 'Mean Woman Blues' (from Take 7) and 'Oh Happy Day' (from Take 5) from 'Until It's Time For You To Go (remake)' are also edited in before Take 1 of 'He Is My Everything' on FTD's Easter Special.
The 'Oh Happy Day' one-liners from takes 3 and 6 of 'Reach Out To Jesus' are edited in after Take 2 and before Take 9 of 'Reach Out To Jesus' on the 4xCD box-set Elvis Back In Nashville.
The unidentified take of 'Reach Out To Jesus' on the bootleg Pure Diamonds Volume 3 is Take 9.
An edited (2:53) version of 'Reach Out To Jesus',
which omitted twenty seconds of the intro, was
released in 1987 on the BMG Ariola release The
Definitive Gospel Album.
In March of 2007, Sony decided to go through all of Elvis' masters. They retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases since 2007 including budget soundtracks, Legacy releases, the 30 disc Complete Elvis Presley Masters collection and the Franklin Mint package.
All outtakes and undubbed masters used on the Sony 4xCD set Elvis Back In Nashville have been completely remixed and remastered from scratch.
Thanks to Adrian V Stokes regarding the edited
versions of songs on the BMG Ariola set of Definitive albums.
