Notes

Songs listed are what were due to be recorded by Elvis during these sessions:-

That's What You Do To Me
Energy
Rainy Night In Georgia
By Day By Day
Let Me On
Yes I Do

Of the many songs rumoured to be under consideration for Elvis to record at this session, these six were positively chosen. Elvis did not record any vocals to these songs. However, rhythm tracks may have been recorded in Elvis' absence with Sherrill Nielsen singing guide vocals.

It has been rumoured that Elvis had also considered recording 'Mustang Wine' and 'Miss Misunderstood'. However, no evidence has been presented to support these claims. These songs may have simply been submitted for the session but ultimately rejected.

Accounts of what happened at Creative Workshop has become somewhat of folklore. Some people, including studio owner Buzz Cason have publicly stated that Elvis never showed up. Most accounts say that Elvis isolated himself in his hotel room just outside of Nashville. However, some eyewitness accounts report that Elvis walked into the studio through the back door, looked in and in anger knocked a pizza box off one of the studio speakers onto the floor, turned around and left.
